Hidden Guest Bed

Incorporate a guest bed into your current design instead of putting up new partitions to get another bedroom. This Murphy bed uses a suspension system that makes it possible to lift with one finger. On each side of the queen-size bed, a niche in the wall acts as a side table and can be wired using a reading light. After the bed is folded upward, homeowners Barbara and Michael Purdy use the freed-up area as a work out area.
